Undoubtedly one of the faces of modern day house music, and 1/3 of the biggest dance trio in the world, Axwell is quickly establishing himself as a show that everyone must put on their bucket-list. His catchy slogan and what seems like his perception of life, "turn off your brain, turn on your heart" is evident through all the music he makes, as he is putting out some of the most dynamic songs that have been topping the charts. I would find it hard to believe if any house music follower couldn't find a single Axwell song that didn't turn on their heart. Whether you look as far back as his first hit "Feel the Vibe", or much closer, like his latest release, "Heart is King," every single track has dynamic edge with a sexy bassline and/or amazing vocals.
There is simply to many amazing tracks to even name on this post, but since I know you all probably want his latest tracks here they are. This post features his hit new single, "Heart is King," which Axwell describes as "neo classical type." This is definitely a track that you should be hitting beatport up for. Unlike many of his other songs this one has no vocals just pure love felt through the melody. The other two songs featured are "Blow Up" and "One Look," both songs are remixes that have the potential to become huge hits. The last selection is for long time Rain City Essential supporter Jonjj, with what I would say is one of my favourite tracks (I am sure a lot of you will agree) the classic "In the Air".
